Unwind your biological clock daily. Improving egg health takes time and daily practice, consistent upgrades over time makes a difference. Think about the patterns and lifestyle habits that have adversley impacted on your fertility/egg health. It is not just age that impacts on fertility you can unwind your biological clock. It takes 4 months for eggs to mature from a primordial follicle - start today and you will reap the rewards in 3-4 months.
1.Sleep longer and better.
Aim for a minimum of 8 hours of sleep.
Sleep and nourishing food are the two best ways to build and restore your qi . Qi is the life force required for maturing healthy eggs, making hormones and building a healthy uterine lining. Going to bed before 10 or at the latest 11 pm provides a healthy circadian platform for your hormones.
When you're sleep deprived, stress hormones dominate, these hormones are counter productive to reproductive hormones.
2. Stop sugar and refined food - add in extra vegetables
Sugar and refined carbohydrates - shop bought treats, packet food and white grains cause inflammation. Inflammation causes free radical damage and adversely affects ovarian health and egg quality.
Replace refined carbohydrates with cooked vegetables eg steamed greens or baked root vegetables sautéed in coconut or olive oil with a squeeze of lemon juice, sea salt, pepper and or rosemary.
3. Do less
Buzzing around and being in a constant state of doing often feels like stress to the brain - this can compromise your health and fertility.
Do less and slow down - say no, have a massage, take a walk in nature, start with a 10 minute meditation and increase it to 10 mins twice a day, then 20mins twice a day.
